I normally finish books but I already put myself through too much halfway through and received a massive migraine because of the book. Hite all 4 comments.
Ugh, I really hate starting a series and not finishing it though. At least that book was so bad, it was lulzy.
A Quick Bite
Lissianna being over years old and still suffering from hemaphobia because of something that happened when she was quiick and no one ever thought to get a therapist for her Mar 01, Lili rated it did not like it. Honestly I’m not sure how she made it to either, she made so many stupid mistakes when it came to feeding that I stopped counting them but I feel like I spent half the book rolling my eyes at her.
And then there is all the rule breaking and miscommunication. Not so much, and that was perfectly alright. I don’t care if she was considered extremely young in vampire years. It was kind of funny at first but she went to that well too many times early on and by page I was ready to be done with them.

At the start, there were possibly too many characters introduced, it took me awhile to get them all sorted right in my head. I think Sands was just writing it as she went along and had no idea how the story would end. Things start to go wrong when Lissianna wrongly assumes that Greg is her dinner rather than her doctor but surely one quick bite isn’t going to do any harm?

That was strike number one. The Immortal Hunter Hungry for You The historical explanations sounded ridiculous and diluted the vampires’ personalities even more. Greg, a psychologist who’s so smart that he can defeat the bad guys with his wit and knowledge!
Mind you these are vampires years old. Maybe I’ll try a re-read in the future, but I have too many books on my TBR list to force myself to get through this. Knight quuck My Dreams.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to return the book for something that’s actually entertaining. I also appreciated Sands original twist on the creation of vampires and their lives. Lissi’s family figures out that Lissi is in trouble and does some undercover work to sadns her and Greg before it is too late. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
What a fun read! Apr 25, Slavena rated it it was ok Shelves: Great marketing device cover, synopsis, etc but the actual product was a huge disappointment. Tried too lynszy to make the names aesthetically pleasing, feeble attempts at humorous dialogue which ended up sounding dullpoor foreshadowing—it just tried too hard.
Wouldn’t really recommend the audio. Once again, Lissi sets Greg free and they run from the house. As such, I have begun a re-read of the Argeneau vampire series, and am finding I really, really like this series as I much as I thought I did. Lissianna’s mother, Marguerite, has been struggling to keep her well fed because of this fear.
